Amanatun Timor Cushion

These cushions are made from a thick handwoven cotton blanket from the Amanatun region of Timor, Indonesia. It dates to the 1930s and is in excellent condition. The blanket was woven in 3 panels and these cushions are pieced from the outer 2 panels. The colours are all natural dyes and include dark teal, ochre and stone. It is a very beautiful and calming palette which would enhance a natural and neutral interior scheme.
I've backed the cushions with a vintage hemp dyed a blue grey colour and there are zip fasteners and feather pads
