Amanuban Ikat Cushion with Tassels

These cushions are from a wonderfully old and unused ikat from the village of Amanuban, Timor Indonesia. The colours are a faded indigo, which on a couple of the cushions has taken on a slight green tone, with bands of stripes in pale green, light and dark browns and stone. The colours are all natural dyes and are a muted soft pallet.
I have added handmade tassels at the corners and they are backed in vintage hemp. With zip fasteners and feathers pads.
