Banjara cushion with blue tassels

This pretty cushion comes from a vintage quilted Banjara bag face. The quilting is holding together several layers of re-cycled cotton fabric with a block print indigo and madder red pattern on the top. These colours have faded beautifully and the quilting has some nice decorative stitching in it. I have backed the cushion with indigo dyed vintage linen and added handmade tassels at the corners. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
