Banjara cushion with blue tassels

This striking cushion is made from a vintage Banjara bag. The Banjara are a semi nomadic ethnic group originating from Rajasthan. The textile is made from layers of thin cotton quilted together using very decorative stitching. The result is a strong and iconic textile that is great for cushions. Ive added blue tassels and backed the cushion with indigo dyed vintage hemp. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
