Banjara cushion

This pretty cushion is made from a vintage Banjara bag. It comprises layers of thin cotton cloth quilted together with big kantha stitches. The bag has been opened out to make the cushion, and the original red and blue textile has faded to a pretty pale blue. I've piped the edges and backed the cushion with pale indigo dyed antique linen. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
