Banjara kalchi cushion

I think this is a really happy little cushion. It's made from a Banjara kalchi or envelope bag and the needle work is very skilled. However I really like the use of colour in the couched stitches on the bag front and in the myriad of pom-poms that are alternated with large cowrie shells. These are pink, orange, yellow, lilac and a lovely turquoise/blue. I've backed the cushion with a plain linen, and there is a zip fastener and feather pad.
