This cushion is made from a Banjara rumal, or ceremonial textile. It comprises layers of cotton sewn together with dense quilting stitches, and decorated with couched stitching and embroidery. The surface cotton is natural dyes, madder and indigo. The cushion has a plain linen back, zip fastener and feather pad.
