Claret Ewe cushions

This pair of cushions is made from a 1960s Ewe strip-weave. Its quite hard to tell it's a strip-weave but you can just make out the joins of the strips every 4 or so inches across the cushion. Its is a hand loomed cotton textile and the main burgundy colour is broken up with strips of golden yellow and speckled grey. The textile is used for the front and back of the cushions and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
