Dai cushions with green tassels

These two cushions are made from the centre panel of a vintage handwoven Dai wedding blanket. The lovely terracotta colour of the blanket comes from the mineral dye senna. I've backed the cushions with another minority textile, this time an indigo homespun from the Buyi minority. I've added green tassels at the corners, with zip fasteners and feather pads.
