Dai cushion with pink tassels

These 2 cushions are made from a vintage Dai minority wedding blanket. The blanket is hand-loomed with indigo dyed cotton. The indigo cotton has faded to a really exquisite pale blue. The border of the blanket has a pink silk pattern so I've added pale pink tassels to bring this out. I've backed the cushions with another Chinese minority textile. This is a vintage Buyi indigo stripe which is also handloomed. I think the result is lovely.
There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
