Flores ikat cushions with tassels

I love how these cushions have turned out. They are made from a vintage Flores cotton shawl. The thick cotton yarn was handloomed and coloured with natural dye. The middle of the shawl had a lizard design which I decided to lose. So I cut out the strip with the lizard and pieced the two sides together. The result is a lovely stripey cushion in natural dye colours of ginger and stone with the odd strip of teal. I've added teal tassels at the corners in bamboo yarn, and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
