These cushions are made from a vintage kente cloth by the Ewe, Ghana. The cloth is hand woven in strips of green cotton with weft blocks in orange, pale yellow, brown and purple. I love the palette. The cloth is in good vintage condition. It is nice and strong, and a little sun faded and wrinkly where the weft blocks are tight. I've backed the cushions with a vintage songjiang textile from Shanghai. This is also handwoven in indigo cotton with a hint of red and green, which reads as a purple stripe.
There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
