Indigo resist cushion with tassels

This cushion is made from a vintage cotton Chinese quilt top with a beautiful pattern using an indigo resist technique. The pattern comprises various auspicious symbols meaning longevity and 3 friends. The indigo is a lovey vibrant shade of blue.  It's very rare to find these in such good condition. I've backed the cushion with an indigo dyed thick cotton textile, added indigo tassels and there is a zip fastener and feather pad.
