Kuba flatweave cushion

The cushion is made from a vintage Kuba cloth which was made from the raphia palm by the Shoowa people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. I liked this piece because the pattern and colour are attractive and I've not seen this before. The cushion is backed with heavy brown linen and there is a zip fastener and feather pad.
