Large Banjara cushion with tassels

This cushion is made from a vintage Banjara bag that has been opened out. The bag is made from several layers of recycled cotton fabric that is quilted together with a thick cotton stitch in a herringbone pattern. the top layer of cotton is a Balotra block print in a faded indigo and madder rusty red.  I've backed the cushion with an indigo dyed thick cotton fabric and added rust-coloured handmade tassels. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
