Large Banjara cushion

This is a lovely old Banjara cushion. Its made from layers of re-cycled textiles held together with tiny quilting stitches. There is also some nice decorative couched stitching round the edges and in the centre. It's not as decorative as some, but it's got good age, circa 1950, is in excellent condition and the the madder is a lovely red-brown.
It is backed with plain natural linen, with a 1 inch flanged edge. It has a zip fasteners and feather pad.
