These cushions are made from an early C20 Yoruba aso oke. the textile was handwoven in strips on a narrow loom and the widths sewn together to make a larger cloth. The warp threads are in a dark indigo and beige hand-spun cottons and the weft in beige and a lovely berry colour. The result is a wonderful thick cloth with a lovely slubby texture. I've used the aso oke for both sides of the cushions and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
