Zhuang Baby Blanket Cushions, Rose Pink

These two cushions are made from an early C20 Zhuang baby blanket. The blanket was hand loomed in cotton and silk and is coloured with natural dyes. The ground cotton has aged to a soft grey colour and the silks are beautiful old pinks. I've added a vintage hand woven textile in blue with a red pinstripe to the front and used this textile for the backs as well. I think it works beautifully. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
