Large Bidjar jajim cushions

These cushions are made from a vintage Bidjar jajim from west Persia. Jajims have a wonderful drape and were traditionally used in nomadic households to cover or store belongings. They were hand loomed on narrow looms and the panels sewn together to make a larger textile. This jajim is woven from wool with a really lovely palette of natural colours and makes beautiful and robust cushions. I've backed the cushions with a heavy natural coloured linen and there are zip fasteners and deluxe feather pads.
