Long Dai cushion with tassels

This wonderful long cushion is made from one panel from the centre of a Dai minority wedding blanket. The blanket dates to the first half of the C20 and was handwoven in cotton. The colours are natural dyes and are from the red earth dye senna and indigo. I've backed the cushion with a plain linen and added handmade tassels, which are also indigo dyed. There is a zip fastener and deluxe feather pad.
This is a rare and exceptional cushion which will add a wow factor to a large bed or a low backed sofa.
