Long Savu ikat cushion

This lovely long cushion is made from a vintage ikat shawl from Savu island, Indonesia. The ikat is handwoven and coloured with natural dye. I particularly like this design as it has  pale bands of weaving which make the lovely browns and reds stand out better. Some of the ikat had insect damage so I didn't have enough textile for the back of the cushion and therefore have used plain linen instead.
It would look wonderful in a neutral scheme on a bed or a low backed sofa. It has a zip fastener and feather pad.
