Magnificent Swat marriage pillow

This is a magnificent example of a Swat marriage pillow. It is a good big size and the embroidery is wonderful. There are a lot more colours in it than more common examples and it makes it far more interesting textile to look at. I love the use of the orange, yellow and green silks in the design. The pillow has both of its original sides although i forgot to photograph is on its side - (sorry). and there is a zip fastener and feather pad. These pillows may seem expensive, but they are so big they take up the space of 2 or more standard sized pillows. I love to use them on beds, where they look fantastic propped against the pillows. Pillows of this quality are rare and hard to find now.
