Miao Collar Cushion

The applique, couched stitching and embroidery on this cushion is on a tiny scale and is all hand done. Its exquisite! The textile was originally the collar of a Miao minority costume and the sides have been sewn together to make the cushion front. The back of the cushion is a vegetable dyed antique hemp sheet. The cushion has a zip fastener and feather pad.
