Mud cloth cushions with Azeri tassels

These 2 cushions are made from a lovely old mud cloth (bogolanfini). The cloth is hand spun and hand woven cotton, which is thick and strong with lots of texture. The cloth was originally brown from the mud colouring, but has now aged to a soft khaki colour. I have backed them with a khaki coloured vintage hemp and added two lovely vintage Azeri tassels at each corner in a wonderful claret colour. The cushions have zip fasteners and feather pads.
