Red Banjara cushion

This cushion is made from a vintage Banjara bag face. The cotton ground textile is madder red with a hint of purple ( probably originally indigo) and is very pretty. The layers of fabric have been quilted with extremely good and even herringbone stitching and some columns of couched stitching. The whole effect is quite special and chic so I've kept my input minimal and just backed the cushion with plain linen. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
