Savu Ikat with Tasselled Sides

This cushion is made from a vintage ikat selendang (shawl) from the island of Savu, Indonesia. The colours are indigo, off white and pink, and handmade tassels in recycled jeans cotton have been used for the sides. The back is a vintage minority indigo hand-weave and there is a zip fastener and feather pad.
