Striped Zhuang Cushions with Tassels

These cushions are made from the central panels of a thick cotton vintage Zhuang wedding blanket. The colours are indigos, terracotta and stone, and there is still some vibrancy in the colours as I've used the underside of the blanket for the front. The corners are adorned with handmade tassels using a 1930s skein of "kinky" blue cotton.

The cushions can be viewed in my studio in Purley by appointment or please ask for a delivery quote.

Cushions can be shipped abroad without pads to save on cost.
