This is a lovely old Swat marriage pillow. The silk embroidery is dense and neatly executed and the red colour is a rich deep claret. The thumbnail image shows both the front and back of the pillow. The two sides of the pillow are held together with tiny handmade silk balls as buttons, and these are in little groups of 3. The reverse of the pillow is part embroidered and has wonderful snowflake type of pattern in the red silk. It's a super quality pillow and rare to find with all its little buttons.
