Swat marriage pillow with yellow tassels

This bolster shaped vintage Swat marriage pillow comprises silk embroidery on a green cotton ground so it caught my eye. Most of the pillows I come across are either embroidered on natural cotton or black cotton, so this is more unusual. The embroidery colours are reds and pinks with some pale yellow silk which I've picked out and reflected in the handmade bamboo tassels. The back of the cushion is part embroidered so you get a nice hit of the green. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
