Timor cushion with tassels

This cushion is made from a lovely old Timor handloomed blanket in thick cotton. It dates to the first half of the C20 and is a good strong textile. The colours are natural dyes, with dark indigo, yellow and rust. I've backed the cushion with an indigo dyed vintage hemp, added gold coloured tassels and there is a zip fastener and feather pad.
This is a very beautiful cushion in a lovely old and rare textile. I wish I could find more of these.
