Timot futus cushions with brown tassels

I love these cushions! They are made from a handwoven cotton blanket from Biboki, Timor, Indonesia. The ikat weave is a particular pattern called futus and I think it's wonderful. It's quite tribal looking and very traditional for the region. The colours are natural dyes and are various tones of browns. It would add so much interest to a neutral interior and the pattern will hold its own in a tribal style setting or one with more colour. I've been very indulgent and used the textile for both sides of the cushions, and there are handmade tassels, zip fasteners and feather pads.
