Yao wedding blanket cushions

These cushions are made from the central panels of a vintage Yao wedding blanket. The blanket dates to the first half of C20 and is handwoven from handspun cotton in a wonderful herringbone pattern. The colours are natural dyes and are indigo, teal, tan and off white. I've backed the cushions in a thick indigo dyed cotton and there are zip fasteners and feather pads. They are fabulous even though I say it myself.
