Yoruba Cushions with Blue Stripes & Tassels

These big fat cushions are made from a mid century Yoruba aso oke textile. Its is a strip-woven cloth in cotton and wild silk with a thin black weft and lace holes. There is a baby blue stripe down the centre of each strip in rayon. It is a thick and strong weave with plenty of texture. I've added hand made tassels, zip fastener and feather pads.
