These striking cushions are made from the 2 panels from a vintage Zhuang baby blanket. The blanket was handloomed on a backstrap loom in cotton and floss silk. The blanket predates the 1950s but the colours are still strong, being red, orange, lavender, celadon and dark indigo. I've backed the cushions with an indigo dyed vintage hemp, added zip fasteners and feather pads.
