These cushions are made from a beautiful early Zhuang minority wedding blanket in handloomed cotton and silk. The colours are old natural dyes and have aged to muted pinks and oranges. The blanket is in very good condition with just a little patch of wear, shown. This is in the silk supplementary weft stitches so is cosmetic and doesn't affect the strength of the textile. I've backed the cushions with a hand dyed vintage hemp in a blue/grey colour. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
