Zhuang wedding blanket cushion

This is a very pretty little cushion made from a vintage Zhuang wedding blanket. The blanket dates to the middle of C20 and is handloomed in cotton and silk. The colours of the silk are true pink and coral pink, and the indigo cotton has a faded appearance. I've backed the cushion with a vintage Songjiang hand woven textile in a similar indigo, with a little bit of pink running through it, and it works beautifully. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
