Zhuang wedding blanket cushions, indigo and pink

These cushions are made from a vintage Zhuang wedding blanket. The blanket was handwoven on a narrow loom, about 13" wide. Two pieces have therefore been joined together to get a wider cushion. The main colour is a deep indigo and the pattern is in a decorative floating weft of pink silk. I've backed the cushions with a vintage indigo striped textile from Sanghai, which works beautifully. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
