Zhuang Wedding Blanket Cushion

Wonderful antique Zhuang wedding blanket made into cushions. This textile was made in the early to mid C20 and would have taken around one year to make by the Zhuang minority group in SW China. The blanket is handwoven in thick cotton and has supplementary weft silk in predominantly coral red colours with accents of orange, indigo and purple. The cushions are backed with antique hemp, have zip fasteners and feather pads. There are 2 available.
