Zhuang zig zag cushion with tassels

This cushion is made from a fragment of a vintage Zhuang Minority wedding blanket. The blanket is hand loomed in cotton and silk and is coloured with natural dyes. The blanket dates to before the 1950s and the colours have faded resulting in a rather attractive a muted pinky beige appearance. I've backed the cushion with a heavy plain linen and added indigo tassels., There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
