Songjiang cushions, blue and green check

These cushions are made from a vintage handwoven textile from Songjiang in East China. The textile is made from pre-dyed yarn in mid blue, jade green and red. The overall look is understated and pretty. The weaver would have been very skilled as this is a difficult pattern. These textiles were destined for Chinese workwear, but luckily they are now cushions instead. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
