Dayak cushion

This cushion is made from a beautiful hand loomed ikat textile from the Dayak people in Borneo. The cotton is thick and soft and the palette of reddy-brown, soft brown and stone, comes from natural dyes and is very beautiful. I've backed the cushion with a vintage hemp dyed reddy-brown and used the woven border from the sides of the ikat to add a decorative pleated detail. Just exquisite!

There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
