Long Indigo Batak Cushion With Tassels

This beautiful long cushion is made from a traditional Ulos textile from the Batak people, northern Sumatra. The weave is known a tenun or ikat weave. The Ulos would be worn as a shawl. The tenun weave uses two tones of indigo and as with any indigo textile, like jeans, i wouldn't place these cushions on very light coloured fabric in case of colour transfer. The cushions have zip fasteners and come with a deluxe feather insert.
