Flores cushion with tassels

These pretty cushions are made from a handwoven shawl from Flores Indonesia. The shawl is made of thick cotton and the yarn is coloured with natural dyes. The colours are beautiful and muted in a rainbow range of hues. As with all handwoven textiles there are variations in the weaving tensions which can make it difficult to match up stripes on a seam but they aren't too bad.
There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
