Flores Sikka cushion with green tassels

This cushion was made from a thick handwoven cotton shawl from Sikka, Flores, Indonesia. The yarn is coloured with natural dyes and and the colours are particularly beautiful. I love the off centre patch of green and rust narrow stripes. I've backed the cushion with a rust coloured linen and made some soft cotton green tassels to finish it off. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
