Indigo Lao handwoven cushions

These lovely large cushions are made from a contemporary handwoven shawl from Lao. The cushions fronts are the decorative supplementary weft pattern and for the cushion backs I've used a plainer section of the shawl. The shawl was coloured with natural dyes, primarily two tones of indigo giving the cushions a lovely soft palette. Thee are zip fasteners and feather pads.
