Large Timor ikat cushion

These 2 cushions are made from a thick cotton handwoven sarong from Timor Indonesia. The beautiful brown-red colour comes from morinder which is a relative of madder and there are also touches of greeny-blue indigo in the pattern. I've used the plainer parts of the sarong for the backs of the cushions and the rather lovely border stripes for either side of the zips. I think these cushions have real wow factor and would be amazing on their own or mixed in with indigos and teal coloured cushions.
