Rote ikat cushion with pink tassels

I have purchased a collection of contemporary handwoven ikats from Rote island, Indonesia, in order to support the weaving communities and keep these traditional skills alive. This ikat is a beautiful sandy colour from a natural dye and I've made 2 cushions from it with handmade pink silk tassels at the corners.
The end result is contemporary and fresh but also original and unique.
There are zip fasteners and feathers pads.
