Sekomandi ikat cushions

These wonderful thick cotton cushions are made from a contemporary sekomandi ikat from Toraja, Sulawesi. A sekomandi is a cloth that is woven for special occasions and is used to decorate traditional houses in such times. The ikat is handwoven and coloured with natural dyes. I have backed the cushions with a heavy weight linen in a comlimentary colour. There are zips fasteners and feather pads.
