Shibori persimmon cushions

These cushions are made from a machine woven cotton from SE China that has been hand dyed a beautiful yellow ochre colour . The colour comes from the persimmon fruit and has been applied using a tie dye method know as shibori. The dyeing process has left a slight textured feel to the fabric which is wonderful. I've added hand made hand dyed green tassels, and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
