Sumba pahikung indigo and off-white cushion

These cushions are made from a thick cotton handwoven textile from Sumba Indonesia. The weave is known as pahikung and the textile is unbleached cotton and naturally dyed colours. I've backed the cushion with a vintage Chinese handwoven indigo from Songjiang, Shanghai. This indigo has a pinstripe in it and was originally intended for Chinese workwear. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
